Palm Sunday, April 14 at 9:30 a.m. - We commemorate Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem with beautiful music, and uplifting sermon message, and (of course) the distribution of palms. Maundy Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. Some people also call this "Holy Thursday." It is the service at which we commemorate the Last Supper with the hauntingly beautiful Vigil of Tenebrae. This is a beautiful and moving service. If you have never experienced a Tenebrae service, you owe it to yourself to attend. There is no offering taken and no sermon. Good Friday, April 19 at noon. This is a short and solemn service with beautiful and contemplative music. We read the Biblical recounting of Jesus' last day leading up to the crucifixion. There is no sermon and no offering is taken. Easter Sunday, April 21 at 9:30 a.m. The greatest celebration of the church year with soaring music and guest musicians. The church is decorated with beautiful flowers and everybody is welcome to this joyous worship service. Whether you attend church regularly or not, if you've been away from church for many years, you will find an especially warm welcome on Easter morning.
